Seed Stage Funding up to ₹25 lakhs

Under the RKVY Innovation and Agripreneurship Programme, Prasoon is designed to support promising agri-startups incubated at the R-ABI by providing seed-stage funding assistance to transform innovative ideas into scalable and commercially viable enterprises.
Startups with a Minimum Viable Product (MVP) based on innovative technologies, products, services, processes, or business models in agriculture and allied sectors are eligible to receive funding assistance of up to ₹25 lakhs. The ₹25 lakh amount represents the maximum funding limit, while the actual assistance is determined based on the genuine requirements of the startup, the strength of its business plan, commercial potential, scalability, and evaluation by the Review Committee.
This funding assistance enables incubated startups to launch their products, services, or business platforms into the market, strengthen operations, accelerate commercialization, and achieve business viability at a faster pace. It also helps entrepreneurs build investor confidence and investment readiness, opening pathways for future fundraising from angel investors, venture capital firms, banks, and other financial institutions.
Prasoon empowers agri-entrepreneurs to move beyond the prototype stage and build impactful, market-driven enterprises in agriculture and allied sectors.
Eligibility Criteria
All startups incubated under the AgriFood Startup Seedcamp at AIC Anand Foundation may get the opportunity to present their ventures before expert investment and review committees under the RKVY Innovation and Agripreneurship Programme. High-potential and innovative startups demonstrating strong progress, scalability, and market potential may be considered for funding assistance under the programme.
Eligibility for funding support includes, but is not limited to:
• Startups incubated under the Seed Camp of AIC Anand Foundation, demonstrating consistent progress and performance as evaluated by the Investment Committee.
• The startup must be a legally registered entity in India and should have completed a minimum of one months of incubation at AIC Anand Foundation.
• The applicant must qualify as an Indian startup as per DPIIT Startup Recognition guidelines. Indian subsidiaries of multinational or foreign companies are not eligible under this programme.
• A startup that has already received seed-stage funding support under the RKVY ABI programme will not be eligible to apply again under the same scheme.
This process enables deserving agri-food innovators to access strategic funding assistance, expert mentoring, and growth opportunities, helping them build scalable, investment-ready enterprises.
