AIC Anand Foundation is a not-for-profit company dedicated to fostering innovation, entrepreneurship and startup growth, with a focus on agrifood, agritech and allied sectors. Established by Anand Agricultural University (AAU), Anand, the Foundation operates through dedicated incubation programmes, strategic partnerships and initiatives designed to transform innovative ideas into viable and scalable enterprises.

 

The Foundation implements and supports entrepreneurship and startup development initiatives under national and state-level programmes, primarily through RKVY-RAFTAAR, the Atal Incubation Centre (AIC) supported by Atal Innovation Mission (AIM), NITI Aayog, and the Government of Gujarat’s Startup and Innovation initiatives.

With a focus on nurturing entrepreneurs, strengthening early-stage ventures and facilitating technology commercialisation, AIC Anand Foundation provides incubation, mentoring, funding facilitation, market access, industry linkages and capacity-building support. Its focus areas span agriculture, agritech, food processing, dairy, biotechnology, agri-inputs, waste-to-wealth and digital agriculture.

The Foundation draws on a strong ecosystem of researchers, technical experts, industry partners, investors, mentors and institutions. Its associated technical infrastructure includes eight food-processing pilot plants and food quality testing facilities, supporting product development, technology validation and commercialization.

Through these initiatives, AIC Anand Foundation strives to build a sustainable startup ecosystem, empower innovators and entrepreneurs, create employment opportunities and deliver meaningful impact for farmers and society.
